Have you noticed that, for the most part, the only movies out these days are action-hero and animated ones?
And their sequels?
And more sequels?
And yet more sequels?
What happened to movies based on actual human beings and their struggles in life, things we can all identify with and relate to?
Movies that make us laugh and cry?
Audiences want more comedies according to this article in Variety:

It starts out like this:
"Audiences worldwide want more comedies and thrillers in theaters, according to a new survey from the Global Cinema Foundation. But overall, the lack of appealing films is the biggest obstacle to going to cinemas more often, the study found."Later, it says this:
"51% of moviegoers said they wanted to see more humorous fare in theaters"I agree.
Moviegoers are tired of action hero, CGI, sequels ... sequel after sequel after nauseating sequel.
There is a lack of real human-identifiable stories available for the screen, funny and dramatic.
This is why "THE REV" will do well.
It is a funny, dramatic story that people from all walks of life can relate to.
Is it possible THE REV could serve as a comeback for movies like this?
